Open Source Reporting

As an intern and researcher on NBC's Social Newsgathering Team, I helped to verify all videos with geolocation, reverse-imaging, detailed reporting, reaching out to sources online, metadata, satellite imaging, and more for all NBC News platforms. I've attached some of my verification cases below as an example of some of the work I did during my time there.
